Dearest reader,

Thank you very much for clicking on this page in order to learn about me, I am deeply grateful that you would take the time. Let us get straight to it…

I would not consider myself a photographer as much as I would consider myself to be a ‘seeing’ person, a ‘noticer of things’. Photography provides me a deeply fulfilling and highly creative medium to convey what I see, and it allows me to share it with others. I decided to create this website as a home for my photos and stories, and the many thoughts that have been inspired by them.

Not only do I wish to share how I see the world, but I also hope to promote seeing deeply as a way to enrich others’ lives. Seeing deeply, intentionally, can be achieved just as easily (if anything, more effectively) without a camera.

To me, the guiding principle behind seeing deeply is gratitude. Being grateful for the world around us, and taking every opportunity to notice it, to witness and appreciate its beauty and wonder. To recognise that every small detail of our world is a work of art, is of immeasurable value and that, to be here, alive and conscious, is an unprecedented gift. Therefore, I present to you Harry’s Photography Thoughts: myself, a camera and a pen. Expressing my gratitude for life, and my ability to be fully conscious of each moment, through my photos and my writing.

Yours Sincerely,

Harry
