The Countryside Between Sant Climent and Mahon; September 2025, on 2 Films

There is not much to write about in this instance. Rather, I hope to share my favourite images from two photo walks around the countryside of Sant Climent and Mahon. I believe these photos speak for themselves, much as the island of Menorca has its own living, breathing consciousness and voice. Therefore, I will leave them uncaptioned. Both of these photo collections are from September 2025, though are rather different in execution and outcome. The first were taken on my trusty Canon EOS500, now property of my sister (a fellow film photographer), using Harman Phoenix II. I can never get enough of the ancient stone walls, the greens and browns and warmth, the pastoral vision of roaming animals and wide, open fields, whilst the entire scene is draped with expansive stretches of blue sky. These photographs capture my love for this place, this future home of mine. The next photographs, captured with an almost-broken 1950s 120 camera I picked up at Mercadillo Alcolea Krauss on Cinestill 800t, feel equally timeless, yet different.
