Photographing Cambridge Museums; A Study In Light

Following my trip to the Fitzwilliam, and seeing those scans… I needed more reflections, mirrors, lights… MORE!

So I visited two other beloved Museums in February 2026.

First, the Museum of Zoology:

Secondly, one of my absolute favourite spots in all of Cambridge, the Museum of Anthropology:

This fascinating little wander around the Museums was captured on a film I really enjoy, Cinestill 800t, pushed to 3200 (+2). I deliberately avoided discussing these photos in much detail as I feel that they do not need much elaboration. A mixture of exhibits, illusions, contrasts… here, friends, I present you how my eyes see.

On a final note, I thought it would be nice to share three photos from the year before (c. May 2025) of the Anthropology museum. Can you see the difference in these below images to the above ones? I am using the same film stock more or less, actually (Candido 800), and it is the same place… last year, though, were my eyes focusing on the same things?
